I currently work as a computer-based illustrator and graphic designer, based in the north-east of Scotland.
I trained as an illustrator at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, gaining a Bachelor of Design (First Class Honours) in 1993 and the Master of Design degree in 1994. The work presented here is the latest in an ongoing personal project which has been developing for many years. Current hardware is a Macintosh G4 733. Images made in Photoshop 6.0.
Original photographs are taken on a Canon Powershot S40 digital camera, a Nikon F401 or a Bronica SQ 6x6 camera. The non-digital parts of the images are scanned in on a UMAX Astra 1200S flatbed scanner or a Nikon Coolscan. Original material includes positive colour film, negative black and white film, drawings, collages or found objects.

The nude elements were made in collaboration with Sean Earnshaw, Alistair Carrie and Charles Craig, to whom many thanks!
